Establishing a Web Presence
I recently spoke to a company owner who told me that they had established a web presence five or six years ago. I believe him. And so would anyone else who visited their site. The copyright was from 2005 or 2006. So was the last piece of company news. Surely, something else had happened at the company since then, right? Avoid the temptation to view your website as a destination, something to be checked off a list. Try to think of it more as a living, breathing representation of your organization. Show visitors that your organization is alive, well, and thriving! Keep information up-to-date. Change up photos occasionally. Post news items, accomplishments, employee milestones to your blog. The Alternative Board
I had a great meeting with John Keener today. John is a facilitator and coach with The Alternative Board® (TAB). TAB is a valuable resource for business owners, presidents, and CEOs looking to improve and grow their businesses and to find the personal level of success and freedom they seek. They offer peer advisory board services, business coaching, management training, and executive search. John currently facilitates five boards and hopes to expand to a sixth board in Washington soon.

2/28/2012Welcome to our new web site! We've been busy providing creative solutions for our clients and (admittedly) we've neglected working on our own site. We hope you like the new look and we intend to do a better job of keeping things current.

In February 2011, we launched a referral program for one of clients FCNB Insurance.
